Effect of growth regulators on growth, flowering and composition in gundumallige (Jasminum sambac Ait.)

Gibberellic acid (GA3), naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) and Ethrel all three at 100 and 200 p.p.m., were sprayed on 8-year-old J. sambac bushes once pre-pruning and a second time 15 days after pruning. Morphological characteristics were measured and carbohydrates, chlorophylls, total N, P and K were determined in leaf samples.
