Electrochemistry of tropical soils with variable charge. III. Errors in the evaluation of charges

Revista Brasileira de Ciencia do Solo 14(1): 19-24
Electrochemistry of tropical soils with variable charge. III. Errors in the evaluation of charges
Errors in the determinations of charge were evaluated using samples of the A1 and B2 horizons of a Red Yellow Latosol and the Ap and B2 horizons of a Humic Ferruginous Latosol (Ferralsols). pH, Al3+ and total acidity were determined in the extracts of the soil suspension used for determination of the potentiometric titration curves, and the adsorbed H+ was determined by calculation.
