Energy efficiency and CO2 emission in greenhouse horticulture

Publikatie Landbouw Economisch Instituut ( 4.126): 52 pp.

Development trends in energy consumption, production level and energy efficiency in the Dutch greenhouse industry from 1980 to 1989 and estimated CO2 emissions in 1989 are discussed. Using this information, forecasts are made for the period 1990-2000 based on developments in the subsectors of greenhouse vegetable, flower and pot plant growing.
