The moisture sorption isotherms of flax seed were determined at 25, 40 and 55 degrees C, using the gravimetric static equilibrium method and the closed-loop dew point method. The coeff. of the 4 most commonly used equations, modified Henderson, Chung-Pfost, Halsey and Guggenheim-Anderson-de Boer (G.A.B.) equations, were then determined and used to predict equilibrium m.c. (EMC).
