Estrus synchronization in nondescript Indian buffaloes with a new intravaginal progesterone pessary and PGF2 alpha

Estrus synchronization in nondescript Indian buffaloes with a new intravaginal progesterone pessary and PGF2 alpha

Indian Journal of Dairy Science 43(3): 509-511

Three groups, each of 8 buffaloes, were treated with intravaginal progesterone pessaries (controlled internal drug release type, CIDR), CIDR plus 5 mg PGF2 alpha deposited intravaginally at CIDR removal after 7 days, or 5 mg PGF2 alpha deposited intravaginally twice at 7 day intervals.
