Opinion leaders' knowledgeability and source credibility as communicators of technical advice

Extension activity has changed considerably in its character over the years and is now seen as a process of communication towards community development. This article describes a study, focused on determining the knowledge and source credibility of the opinion leaders in giving technical advice to small farmers. Data were collected in two phases, between April and May 1990, from the farmers of two villages of Akua Union of Sadar upazila under Mymensingh district.
