Photosynthetic characteristics and productivity in citrus. 3. Effect of solar photosynthetic photon flux density, water stress and growth regulators

Experiments were carried out with potted trees of the lemon cultivar Pant Lemon-1 kept in the open (7.5 mmol m-2 s-1 solar photosynthetic photon flux density (PPFD) at noon) or under diffused solar radiation (0.45 mmol m-2 s-1). Other potted trees were irrigated at 20, 40, 60 or 80% available soil moisture and the growth regulators (IAA, BA, GA3 or Mixtalol (biologically-active naturally-occurring long chain aliphatic alcohols)) were sprayed on 1-month-old shoots.
