Physical modeling of greenhouse climate

Mathematical and control applications in agriculture and horticulture Proceedings of the IFAC/ISHS workshop held in Matsuyama, Japan, 30 September 3 October 1991: 7-12
Physical modeling of greenhouse climate
Physical processes in the greenhouse are discussed with emphasis on the need for a quantitative description to enable computer modelling. General aspects of the inter-relationship between greenhouse climate and external weather are considered. Physical processes are outlined, including radiative exchange, ventilation exchange, crop transpiration, exchange with the cover and heating system and exchange with and transport in the soil.
