Phytoalexins present in plants of clover and lucerne
In a study of phytoalexin content in Medicago media and Trifolium pratense in relation to resistance to Erysiphe martii in clover and Pseudopeziza medicaginis in lucerne, variation in the content of particular flavonoids was considerable and the most resistant were forms with a relatively low content of flavonoids, e.g. formononetin in clover.
