Porcine respiratory coronavirus isolated from young piglets in Quebec

Porcine respiratory coronavirus isolated from young piglets in Quebec

Veterinary Record 130(22): 500-500

The isolation of a virus in a swine testicle (ST) cell line from the lungs of 2- to 3-week-old piglets with respiratory disorders, mainly bronchointerstitial pneumonia, is reported. Monoclonal antibodies and polyclonal antisera to many porcine viruses did not react with the infected ST cells.
