In 1986-88 at Secuieni on a cambic chernozem prepared by ploughing to 30 cm + 10 cm depth, ploughing to 30 cm depth, ploughing or loosening to 20 cm depth or discing to 12-15 cm depth, soyabean seed yields were 2.13, 2.24, 2.27, 2.22 and 2.20 t/ha, resp. with fuel consumption of 75.8, 65.85, 41.99, 38.15 and 29.46 litres/ha.
