Prevalence of Trichomonas gallinae in central California mourning doves



California Fish and Game 74(4): 239-240



Fifty-five mourning doves (45 in hatching year, 9 adults and one undetermined) were trapped in July and August, 1986, near Fresno, California, USA, and mucous material collected from the crop and mouth was examined. 21 birds (19 juveniles, one adult and one undetermined) were infected with T. gallinae.
