Quantitative determination of the protein of insecticidal crystals of Bacillus thuringiensis by means of immuno-chemical methods

Quantitative determination of the protein of insecticidal crystals of Bacillus thuringiensis by means of immuno-chemical methods

Biotekhnologiya 6(5): 89-92

ISSN/ISBN: 0234-2758

The content of beta -endotoxin in industrial samples of Dendrobacillin (Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. dendrolimus) was determined by Mancini radial immunodiffusion, Lawrell immunoelectrophoresis and an immunoenzyme technique. Samples produced from the same strain of Bacillus thuringiensis showed correlation of toxin content and biological activity.
