In field trials in 1983-85 on acid soil, lentils Pant L-406 grown in the rabi seasons were given 0, 40 or 80 kg P2O5/ha as Mussoorie rock phosphate (MRP), single superphosphate (SSP), or mixtures of MRP and SSP in 1:1 or 2:1 ratios, and the direct effects on lentils and residual effects on maize Kanchan grown in the kharif season were studied.
