Response of soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) to nitrogen and phosphorus

Response of soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) to nitrogen and phosphorus

Indian Journal of Agronomy 35(3): 308-310

In a trial in 1987 with soyabeans JS 72-44 given combinations of 0-60 kg N and 0-90 kg P2O5/ha, seed yields were 0.40, 1.17, 1.65 and 2.02 t/ha with 0, 20, 40 and 60 kg N/ha, resp., and 1.03, 1.43 and 1.63 t with 0, 30 and 60 kg P2O5/ha, resp. Yields were not further increased with 90 kg P2O5/ha.
