In field trials in the kharif season of 1985-86 on red clay loam soil soyabeans T-49 given 0-60 kg N and 0-120 kg P/ha gave seed yields of 0.81-1.36 and 0.91-1.28 t/ha, respectively. N and P fertilizers had no effect on 1000-seed weight.
