A case of Scopulariopsis peritonitis is reported in a 49-yr-old man undergoing continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis. The patient underwent removal of the Tenckhoff catheter and was treated with 300 mg of intravenous amphotericin B and haemodialysis. Clinically, the abdominal pain resolved and a new Tenckhoff catheter was inserted 3 d after completion of amphotericin B. Multiple follow-up peritoneal fluid and blood cultures were negative.
