Sequence of the TCR beta chain gene used by a T cell clone specific for the synthetic polymer, GAT

Sequence of the TCR beta chain gene used by a T cell clone specific for the synthetic polymer, GAT

Nucleic Acids Research 18(19): 5881-5881

The gene encoding the beta chain of the mouse T-cell receptor (TCR) was identified as a rearranged J beta -containing DNA fragment that was unique to BB02', a glutamic acid60:alanine30:tyrosine10 (GAT)-specific helper T cell clone. This fragment was cloned in to lambda gtWesB, and the internal fragments containing the V, D and J gene segments were subcloned and sequenced.
