Serious structural differences in the EC

The number and sizes of farms in the 12 EC countries as shown in the 1987 statistics are analysed and discussed. Size classes are based on estimated annual gross margins for five groups, of from less than DM 10 000 to over DM 250 000. Data are also averaged for the eight northern countries and for the four southern countries.
