Serological examinations of cod fished in the Polish zone of marine fishing in the Baltic sea

In studies of sera from 40 cod (29 healthy and 11 diseased) fished in the Baltic Sea and examined using the passive haemagglutination test, antibodies were found in 50 and 20%, respectively. The titres were generally low with the highest encountered being 1:16.
