Serological study of sows sent for slaughter after culling because of various reproductive disorders

Of 104 sows culled during 8 months from a farm of 1100 sows managed semi-intensively 40 had positive serological titres for Leptospira icterohaemorrhagiae. One was serologically positive for toxoplasmosis, but none for brucellosis. Aujeszky's disease was excluded.
