Serological test studies of fungal disease with reference to basidiobolomycosis

Serological test studies of fungal disease with reference to basidiobolomycosis

Penyakit Hewan 22(40): 117-121

Serological methods for the diagnosis of equine basidiobolomycosis were studied. An agar gel precipitation test (AGPT) and ELISA were developed to investigate the immunoreactivity of antigens prepared from 3 isolates of Basidiobolus against antisera from immunized rabbits. In the AGPT, culture filtrate antigens (CFA) from pathogenic and non-pathogenic isolates and rabbit anti-Basidiobolus sera were used.
