Serology of coronaviral infection in cats

Serology of coronaviral infection in cats

Untersuchungen zur Coronavirusserologie der Katze: 125 pp.

365 serum samples from cats were tested by HI, ELISA, immunofluorescence, neutralization and radioimmunoprecipitation tests, using antigens prepared from feline infectious peritonitis coronavirus and also from porcine (TGE) and human coronaviruses. There were strong cross reactions with TGE antigen. Haemagglutination induced by feline coronavirus was not inhibited by specific antisera.
