Evidence of brucellosis from serum agglutination tests on 500 goat, 532 sheep and 522 human serum samples was 3.0, 1.69 and 0.95%, and milk ring tests showed an infection rate of 9.10 and 7.6% in 527 goat and 500 ewe milk samples resp. Brucellosis incidence in female goats (3.65%) was higher than in male goats and was highest in goats >4 yr old. Prevalence was 0.74% in Lohi sheep vs. 3.18% in sheep of indeterminate breed.
