Serotyping and demonstration of immunogenic cross reactions in Haemophilus parasuis (Glasser's disease)

Serotyping and demonstration of immunogenic cross reactions in Haemophilus parasuis (Glasser's disease)

Monatshefte fur Veterinarmedizin 46(16): 586-589

Results of serotyping 100 H. parasuis strains according to the method of Morozumi and Nicolet and that of Bakos et al. are tabulated. There was no relation between the results of the two methods, which utilize different antigenic structures. With the agar gel precipitation test 82 could be serotyped, but with the slow agglutination test only 53.
