Serum pepsinogen, under basal conditions and after stimulation with intramuscular BetazoleReg., was studied in 45 patients with duodenal ulcer (DU), 9 before and 36 after proximal gastric vagotomy (PGV), in 10 with gastric ulcer (GU) before and after PGV and pyloroplasty, and in 14 controls.
