Serving the multicultural community: directions for leisure service providers

In keeping with a growing number of municipal multiculturalism policies, local governments must attempt to deliver services in a way that accommodates all segments of Canada's multi-racial, multicultural populace. The purpose of this case study was to examine the social, cultural, and recreational infrastructure of six ethnic communities in the City of Ottawa in order to develop ways in which municipal recreation could better fulfil its multicultural mandate.
