A simple and rapid method is described for the simultaneous determination of aliphatic mono-, di- and tricarboxylic acids, cyclic acids (shikimic + quinic), aromatic acids and sugars, all as trimethylsilyl derivatives in a single solution. It was used to determine the main components of apples, Golden Delicious, and their products (juice, clarified juice and concentrate).
