In trials in soyabeans Centennial during 1985-87, some crop injury resulting from herbicide application was evident, especially at double rates, but crop yield was seldom reduced. Significant yield reduction occurred only in 1987, a year characterized by excessive rainfall, where crop injury was severe following a double rate of Canopy (chlorimuron ethyl + metribuzin) pre-em. and Canopy pre-em. followed by Classic post-em.
