Spatial distribution pattern of Apanteles glomeratus (L.) and its application

Natural Enemies of Insects 11(3): 130-135
Spatial distribution pattern of Apanteles glomeratus (L.) and its application
The spatial distribution pattern of Apanteles glomeratus an important parasitoid of Pieris rapae larvae, was studied by 9 methods in cabbage fields in Guizhou, China. The cocoon masses were found to be aggregated in loose colonies, but the distribution of the colonies was random. It is suggested that the aggregated distribution of the cocoon masses may be due to environmental factors.
