Species of Glomus associated with non-root portions of some rhizomatous plants and the characteristics of their mycorrhizae

Spores of G. clarum, G. fasciculatum, G. mosseae, G. multicaule, G. aggregatum and Acaulospora bireticulata were observed in association with the scales or skin of the underground rhizomes of some plants (including Colocasia, turmeric, banana and Selaginella spp.) in Pakistan.
