In trials with G. gandavensis True Love, the diameter and weight of daughter corms, number and weight of cormels, and the number of grade 4 cormels increased as the number of leaves left after cutting the flowers increased from zero to all leaves. The minimum number of leaves for new corm and cormel production and flowering in the following year was 4.
