Studies on in vitro maturation and fertilization of bovine oocytes. II. Effects of some reproductive hormones on the maturation, fertilization and the subsequent development potential of bovine oocytes in vitro

Studies on in vitro maturation and fertilization of bovine oocytes. II. Effects of some reproductive hormones on the maturation, fertilization and the subsequent development potential of bovine oocytes in vitro

Memoirs of the College of Agriculture, National Taiwan University 29(1): 150-160

Ovaries were obtained from slaughtered Holstein and native cattle. Oocyte-cumulus complexes from follicles 2-5 mm in diameter were removed and incubated in medium 199 supplemented with 20% fetal calf serum, FSH, HCG and oestradiol-17 beta for 28 h at 39 degrees C.
