South Indian Horticulture 37(3): 169-172



The crop (grown outdoors at Madurai for cut flowers) received N at 0, 80 or 120 kg/ha and P2O5 at 0, 90 or 120 kg/ha; K2O basal dressing was applied at 30 kg/ha. In some cases ascorbic acid was sprayed at 1000 p.p.m. 15 or 30 days after transplanting. Data are tabulated on plant height, number of laterals, number of flowers produced, and flower yield.
