Study on selection of rhizomania-tolerant sugarbeet varieties

Study on selection of rhizomania-tolerant sugarbeet varieties

Proceedings of the Japanese Society of Sugar Beet Technologists ( 31): 93-97

Tolerance of rhizomania (caused by beet necrotic yellow vein virus) was tested in infested fields in 10 varieties in 1986, 13 in 1987 and 16 in 1988. ELISA absorbance was lower in tolerant than susceptible varieties.
