The Astrakhan method of sage cultivation

Different procedures used in the Astrakhan method of sage (Salvia sp.) cultivation are described. It has been possible to reduce the inter-row strip to 6-8 cm by cutting slit-trenches. The depth of the first inter-row tillage is 5-7 cm and that of the second one 6-8 cm.
