Following an introduction to the general organization of the IBPGR, the structure and activities of the IBPGR in Latin America are outlined. The structure includes an office for North and Central America and the Caribbean located at CIMMYT, an office for South America located at CIAT, and a seed handling unit at CATIE (Costa Rica).
