The basis for Thailand's response strategies to global warming

TDRI Quarterly Newsletter 6(3): 7-12

Despite many uncertainties concerning global climate change, the international community has recognized that climate change is a global problem which must be confronted by all countries in different ways. This article focuses on the responses of Thailand to global warming, arguing that the country must design policies and preventative strategies to minimize its own emissions without hindering growth. As such, policies must ensure that benefits accrue to the poor.
