Effect of supplementing cholecalciferol-deficient maize/soyabean meal starter and grower diets with cholecalciferol 330, 550, 660 and 1000 and 165, 275, 330 and 500 IU/kg feed, respectively, until 83 days old was studied in weaned pigs. Body weight at 83 days old was 27.30, 25.80, 26.70 and 28.10 kg. Ca and P in serum was 2.23, 2.25, 2.50 and 2.70; and 2.02, 2.00, 2.15 and 2.05 mmol/litre, respectively.
