The effects of filter materials on the recovery of different pesticides during sample processing

The effects of filter materials on the recovery of different pesticides during sample processing

Mitteilungen der Deutschen Bodenkundlichen Gesellschaft 63: 149-152

A stainless steel pressure filtration apparatus (142 mm diam., 7 bar max) was compared with a 25 mm diam. filter attachment for sample processing (solid phase extraction with C-18 columns) of pesticides (aldicarb-citrazine, terbuthylazine, parathion and pendimethalin). The filter attachment was not suitable. Teflon, nylon and regenerated cellulose were tested as filter materials.
