, : The effects of floor space allowance and frequency of bathing on the performance of growing pigs. Philippine Agriculturist 71(4): 481-487

Four experiments involving a total of 729 pigs were conducted in 3 commercial piggeries to determine the effect of floor space allowance and frequency of bathing on the growth performance of growing replacement gilts and slaughter pigs. Growing replacement gilts on a fully slotted floor with only 0.63 msuperscript 2 floor area performed as well as those raised in a bigger floor space.
