The effects of keeping solutions on the life of cut Gerbera jamesonii hybrida (H. Bolus), cv. Rebecca, flowers

, : The effects of keeping solutions on the life of cut Gerbera jamesonii hybrida (H. Bolus), cv. Rebecca, flowers. Advances in Horticultural Science 5(4): 135-138

In 5 experiments, the effects were investigated of several keeping solutions on the vase life of cut flowers of the semidouble pink cultivar Rebecca. Postharvest life was prolonged by all the solutions, which in some cases increased it about 4-fold compared with controls held in distilled water.
