The effects of the Single Market on trade in pasta in the EC

, : The effects of the Single Market on trade in pasta in the EC. Rivista di Economia Agraria 47(1): 67-88

The paper examines the effects of Italian and EC regulations on the level and competitiveness of Italian exports of pasta within the EC. Bearing in mind the principle of reciprocity, intra-EC trade flows between 1981 and 1990 are first analysed to see whether new exporting countries have emerged and whether Italian exports have held their own.
