The efficiency of foliar application of phosphorus in sugar cane
Yadav, D.V.; Yaduvanshi, N.P.S., 1989: The efficiency of foliar application of phosphorus in sugar cane. Sugar Cane ( 4): 9-10
Basal or foliar application of P (as diammonium phosphate) at 13.1 or 26.2 kg/ha significantly increased the N and P contents and the yield of Co.1148 sugarcane compared with zero-P controls. Foliar application of 26.2 kg/ha gave the maximum yield (61.8 t/ha compared with 54.5 t/ha in the controls). Within 72 h, 105-day-old plants absorbed about 28.5% of the foliar-applied P.
