The end of the standard tractor?

Operating comfort and safety of standard tractors are considered. It is suggested that heavy rear-mounted implements and high forward speeds cause unfavourable vibration of the tractor, and that moving the driver's cab forwards and a balanced axle load distribution would compensate for this, particularly in tractors with front axle suspension.
