, : The epidemiology of subclinical coccidiosis in United States and results of its prevention in the bovine and other ruminants. Coccidia and intestinal coccidiomorphs Proceedings of the 5th International Coccidiosis Conference Tours France, 17-20 October 1989: 461-466

Trials were conducted and reported in the USA, using Deccox in order to prevent the development of low level (sub-clinical) coccidiosis in 3 separate areas of the cattle industry: the feedlot, the stocker or growing calf after weaning, and the weaned dairy calf. The following parameters were used for evaluation: improved growth and development, improved daily weight gains, increased daily feed intake and reduction of overall morbidity and mortality.
