166 American Angus cows were superovulated using PG and a series of FSH injections, and were inseminated at oestrus and 12 and 24 h later. Multiple birth rate was 15% (6 sets of twins, and 1 set each of triplets and quadruplets), 8% (1 set of twins) and 7% (7 sets of twins and 1 set of triplets) in replicates 1, 2 and 3 resp.
