Variability in the adaptive behaviour and in the herbicide sensitivity of Elytrigia repens (L.) Desv. (Agropyron repens) (L.) clones from various sources

Variability in the adaptive behaviour and in the herbicide sensitivity of Elytrigia repens (L.) Desv. (Agropyron repens) (L.) clones from various sources

Archiv fur Phytopathologie und Pflanzenschutz 26(2): 169-175

E. repens plants taken from 128 sites in E. Germany showed considerable variation both in acid phosphatase activity and in productivity. Correlations were established between the length, lateral bud sprouting and DM of the rhizomes, as well as physiological activity and response to Roundup (glyphosate).
