Virucidal efficacy of eight disinfectants against pneumovirus, coronavirus and parvovirus

Eight different disinfectants were tested against turkey rhinotracheitis virus, bovine coronavirus and canine parvovirus. Whether organic matter was present or not, parvovirus was the most resistant, since concentrations of disinfectants 20-500 times higher than those inactivating coronavirus and pneumovirus were necessary. When organic matter was present, disinfectant activity was considerably reduced.
