Yield response and physiological changes in groundnut (Arachis hypogaea) at various B levels

Yield response and physiological changes in groundnut (Arachis hypogaea) at various B levels

Oil Crops of China ( 1): 55-58

Two-layer pots were used in a solution culture experiment with groundnuts Ehua 2 in 1985-86. The upper layer of the pots was filled with quartz sand and the lower layer contained culture solution with B at 0, 0.005, 0.01, 0.025, 0.05, 0.1, 0.5 and 1.0 p.p.m. Boron showed a highly significant influence on yield/plant; the optimum B concn in the culture solution was 0.05-0.1 p.p.m.
